Team Freud & Ecstasy Attends the European Film Market 2026

Freud & Ecstasy took part in this year’s European Film Market (EFM) during the Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin, joining a vibrant week of meetings, industry events, and international exchange.

The market provided an opportunity to reconnect with long-standing collaborators and to establish new partnerships.

A special thanks goes to the Film- und Medienbüro Niedersachsen and Dr. Julia Dordel for hosting an insightful EFM workshop, as well as to Nordmedia for their continued support and for hosting a matchmaking event with Canadian producers at the Canadian Embassy.

We also extend our gratitude to the MIDPOINT Institute, Screen Nova Scotia, m-appeal, the International Screen Institute, and the many partners and organizations who hosted events and gatherings throughout the week.
