Frederik Ehrhardt
founder.
Frederik Ehrhardt is a writer and producer based in the United States and Germany. He got his industry start as an associate producer for four-time Independent Spirit Award nominee Darren Dean before launching Freud & Ecstasy in 2024.
As producer, Frederik‘s films have screened and won awards at various Oscar-qualifying festivals and at many of the leading genre festivals, including SITGES, Indy Shorts, Raindance, Bogoshorts, Dances With Films, Guanajuato, Screamfest, HollyShorts, FilmQuest, Flickers‘ and Brussels Int. Fantastic.
Recent writing honors include Runner-up at Script Pipeline‘s First Look, Best Short Script at the Cordillera Int. Film Festival, Finalist in CineStory‘s TV Contest, Finalist in the Stage 32 Annual TV Comedy Screenwriting Contest, and Semifinalist in the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
Frederik is a proud alumnus of the MIDPOINT Institute‘s Development Executive program and the CineStory Foundation.
He earned his Master’s degree in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford, an artist diploma in Screenwriting from the New York Film Academy, and completed his postgraduate studies in Entertainment Management at UCLA.
